The Technical Stuff
Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss coverage is a layer of coverage that provides insurance protection to groups who choose to self-fund their health benefit plans. Self-funding of health benefits is an alternate to groups that would like greater control over their health plan and are willing to assume responsibility for payment and management of claims.
